
Lórien Eck was born in Los Angeles and raised in Laguna Niguel California. She graduated from San Francisco State University (B.A., Art), St. Lawrence University, New York (M.Ed), Otis College of Art and Design, and CSU International Programs in Florence, Italy. Her paintings are imbued with spiritual insights that act as a catalyst to transform and uplift individuals and the global community. Her work has been shown from Malibu, in Santa Monica and Venice, Laguna Niguel, New York, San Francisco Bay Area, and Sardinia, Italy, as well as other venues and public spaces. She has spent the last fourteen years teaching art to Los Angeles youth and is now focusing on her fine art career. Her artwork is dedicated to the loving memory of her sister Alisa Diane Eck. Her current works of art explore the interaction between mythology, human consciousness, and nature. The astonishing images captured by the Hubble telescope provided the impetus for creating her cosmic collections. |
